Short week! Here's what I did:

  • Always focusing my effort on reposting; here are the most notable articles/posted I shared:

  • 1. Shared important article concerning birds as bioindicator species of environmental pollution.

  • 2. As wild ecosystems are increasingly affected by human expansion/human-made material infiltration, birds have to adjust as the climate changes and as their environments change. The second article goes into how birds are affected by microplastics and such.

  • 3. I had never considered that human light pollution affects birds at night; my third article goes into detail on the harmful effects of humans altering nature's contrast between night and day.

  • 4. This one is both impressive and disheartening: As more and more human-made materials enter the environment, birds are adapting them to build nests out of potentially harmful materials. Disheartening to see that humans have pushed nature to this point, but impressive in that birds are adapting so readily to the challenge.
